Born
on the 8th of December, 1985, Misato Katsuragi is the Chief of
Operations of "Nerv." She is Shinji's superior, and
throughout the series she becomes a guardian/protecting figure to
Shinji, and later on Asuka. Misato is an attractive woman, with an
optimistic and cheerful attitude. She lived with Kaji for a while,
but that ended. Misato joined Nerv in 2009, to avenge the death of
her father who died in the first attack by the first two angels.
